What’s Your Motivation to Learn English?

Ailola Cape Town hosts students from all over the world. Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Germany, France and a lot of other countries are currently meeting in our language school. But why do students come to South Africa to study English? What are their goals and why do they like Cape Town? Get to know our English students and find out what motivates them to come to Cape Town. Why are you learning English?
“I’m learning English for my job as a pharmacist.”

Why is Cape Town the perfect place to learn English?
“For me it’s cheaper than other countries and especially in Brazil, it’s extremely important to have a good knowledge in English.”

Why are you learning English?
“I want to improve my English to get the B2 level and pass the Cambridge First Exam which is important for my future studies.”

“Cape Town is the perfect mix between nature and a wonderful city. There are so many things to do, always with nice experiences and memories. Especially the weather is always changing and you have to be prepared for everything. That makes your journey funnier.”

“For any future job, I want to work in an international company. For a job interview I have to speak English and my CV and application should be in English too.”

“Because Cape Town is a cosmopolitan town, the life here is less expensive than in Paris and my native country Gabon is close to South Africa.”

“Cape Town is cheaper than other countries for learning English, the food is so much better than in Europe and I really enjoy to meet new people here.”
