I have done an internship at Ailola Buenos Aires from June 2016 to July 2016. I was very happy with the kind of work I had to do and felt very comfortable in my new team. My tasks and responsibilities were the guidance of other students during their stay and the generation of content for our various social media channels. Twice a week I had the chance to accompany the students to their activities and thus I have learnt a lot about Argentina and the Argentinian culture myself. It was so enjoyable it did not feel like work. We took a lot of pictures, that I would later make accessible to the students via Facebook, Google Plus, LinkedIn and Twitter.

I was also in charge of the Ailola Buenos Aires Blog, helped to post already written blogs and prepared and published my very own first blog post. Working with the blog was probably my favorite task. I have learnt a lot about blogs and the formatting of texts. Another project I was responsible for during my stay was finding an adequate present or souvenir for the students who leave Ailola Buenos Aires when their time has come and generate and prepare new content for the volunteering projects that Ailola Buenos Aires offers in Buenos Aires, the province of Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina.

Once a week I had a Skype interview with Philip, my boss from Germany to discuss tasks, questions, and ideas. Working with Philip and the team here (Laura, Angie, Pablo and Marcela) was really enjoyable and the whole atmosphere was very familiar. On weekends my colleagues helped me organize my personal travel and so I got to go to Mendoza and Iguazu with considerable discounts. The pay you receive are free classes in the morning. I have really made a huge step in speaking Spanish and feel confident to take the DELE for C1 now. All in all, I was really happy with my choice to come to Ailola Buenos Aires, and I am very content with everything I have learnt in this incredible city.
